Thule Urban Glide 2 Bundle Lite

$1599 (save 21%). This gets you your stroller plus a nice Maxi Cosi capsule & base to cover the first 12* months in the car (*we generally say the capsule will last you 6-9 months on average based on our experience here in NZ). The capsule can also be clicked straight from car to stroller with the adapters included in the bundle. We have also added the Thule Newborn Inlay to allow strolling right from newborn.

Big question: do I have to buy a bassinet?

No, it is optional and up to you. Bassinets definitely have some advantages and are especially relevant if you have a smaller baby/prem baby - complete lie flat surface, useful extra bed if you are out visiting friends/family, no time limits. Disadvantage is that they are quite big/bulky, cost extra and are not used for that long a time period. We have talked about this with hundreds (thousands probably) of people and understand there are lots of different opinions / attitudes - whatever yours is, we have an option for you. Using a capsule instead makes a lot of sense, you are buying it for the car anyway and it gives you a convenient travel system. Maxi Cosi recommends not more than 2 hours at a time in the capsule - as long as you are aware of that you can easily work around it. Babies are not sleeping for longer than that during the day at that age so just make sure they are not in the capsule leading up to a sleep time. We also have the new Thule Newborn Inlay with a wedge to flatten the surface and a padded head support - cost effective, lightweight and simple. If you want a bassinet the next bundle is for you.

This is the biggest seller in the last 12 months and provides the biggest value. $1799 (save over 25% and more than $600 off RRP) gets you fully kitted out with everything you need for getting out and about - either on foot or in the car. The stroller will last you until your child is done with it and they refuse because they are so independent and good at walking now! You will have the bassinet for peace of mind from newborn and that extra bed to help you protect the precious sleep cycles during the day. Absolutely effortless to push around town with the capability to really get off the beaten track or jog after 6 months. The Maxi Cosi Stone is a very premium European convertible car seat that can be used from birth through until 4 years - we love this car seat. This is a pretty simple bundle where your money is going primarily into just 2 high quality products designed to last. Will definitely appeal to 2nd time parents or people having their first baby but feeling confident about the robustness of their impending arrival - scans showing size, generally low stress attitudes etc.....
