2022 Shipping & Logistics
"Supply chains became the most talked about aspect of commerce in the latter half of 2021. It’s unlikely that production, shipping, and fulfillment challenges will abate in the months to come"
What are we doing about it?
- Increasing our investment in inventory - a larger stockholding means we can reduce the frequency & duration of out of stock situations.
- Offering full transparency of container shipments and clear communication of estimated delivery times.
If a product is not physically in stock at our warehouse it will have an estimated time of arrival and specify the vessel the container is shipping on. We will also add a note about our expectation of when your product(s) will be delivered to your door step (based on the latest information from our freight forwarders & the shipping lines).
Some of our products are imported by a 3rd party so we will not have specific vessel details but will provide estimated time of arrival as advised by our suppliers.
It is quite amazing to see just how many ships are out there – gives some insight into the sheer scale of the global supply chain we are all so dependent on!
