The extensions to the Thule global product development and test centre in Hillerstorp, Sweden are nearing completion. This major investment (circa NZ$20 million) into a state-of-the-art facility illustrates the ongoing commitment to developing exceptional new products and maintaining the highest quality.

The global product development and test centre employs around 150 engineers and now has an additional 3,000 square meters for a park-like test track for products in the Active with Kids product category.

Thule re-invests around 6% of sales back into NPD vs an industry standard of 2-3%.
